Actor and pastor Yul Edochie sparked controversy online after advising his fans to spend their savings before it’s too late. In a video shared on Instagram, Yul, who recently launched an online church, encouraged his followers to spend their money freely instead of saving it. Speaking in pidgin English, he urged them to “chop their money” and donate to those in need, warning that if they don’t, someone else will end up spending it after their death.
His remarks quickly stirred up debate, with many followers expressing their disagreement. Known for his candidness, Yul Edochie elaborated on his views, suggesting that life shouldn’t be taken too seriously as everyone will eventually die.
