The DPA organization, a law firm, has shared new insights into the divorce proceedings involving Pastor Yul Edochie and his wife, May Edochie. According to a statement released online, the legal representatives of May Edochie revealed that she declined to pursue charges of bigamy against Yul to prevent his potential arrest by the police. Instead, she opted for divorce proceedings and filed a lawsuit against Yul for damages.
The law firm disclosed that Yul Edochie attempted to impose polygamy on May by forcefully trying to engage in intimacy with her on multiple occasions, which she refused. Additionally, reports indicate that Yul resorted to violence, issued threats, and made inappropriate advances towards May, including trying to be intimate with her while she was grieving the loss of their late son, Kambili.
