While some areas in Warri, Delta state, are in chaos and the streets of twitter is unhappy with the gruesome murder of a young man by over zealous Nigeria soldiers, A lady known as Mildred, has come out to justify the killing of the young man by men of the Nigerian Army, stating that the deceased was killed as a result of his stubbornness.
The stay at home order has really made the military men have the opportunity to oppress unarmed Nigerian citizen, which is very unprofessional as a trained officer. It is very wrong to open fire on a man who is not bearing arms.
Delta state has no confirmed case of COVID-19, but as already recorded a painful death, as a result of the wickedness of these military men.
The killing of the young man resulted into a bigger fight, as young men and matured boy from that region came out en-masse to disarm the soldiers and give them the beating of their lives. Unconfirmed reports have it that one of the soldier was murdered in the process, which has caused uproar in the community as some soldiers have vowed to return to the place to wreck havoc on the community.
The young lady who supported the killing of the unarmed civilian on twitter, reacted to a posted made by a cousin of the deceased on yesterday, and wrote “Your cousin wasn’t killed because he flouted the sit at home order, he died because he was stubborn by refusing to stop when he was asked to stop, then the soldiers chased him till he got the his street, where they shot at his car tyres and when he still didn’t stop, he was shot.”
The government of Delta state should please see how they can calm things down in this part of the state, to curb further killing of civilians, to avoid the militants of Niger Delta getting involved in the fight.
