Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has placed a hefty price tag on his presence, telling skit maker and streamer Carter Efe that he requires a payment of N10 million to appear on his livestream.
The Negotiation
During a conversation on Instagram, Portable made it clear that his fame is not for charity. Responding to Carter Efe’s invitation to join his stream, the “Zazu” crooner insisted that he does not give out his “limelight” for free and must be properly compensated for his time and status.
“I’m a Star, Bro”
Portable argued that since Carter Efe allegedly makes money from other artists, he should be willing to pay up. He dismissed the content creator as “big for nothing” and cited divine justification for charging for his glory.
He stated:
“Na wetin I wan collect from your hand be that. Call your fans and your people make them pay for you. If that N10M reach my aza, I go show you love. Even God talk am, don’t give them the glory free, collect money. Give me 10M. You’re a small boy Carter Efe; you just big for nothing. You don collect money from all the artists you no wan come pay me. You have to pay, I’m a star, bro.”
