Popular Yoruba actress , Bimbo Akinsanya has been acquitted of a murder charge she was accused of by one Reverend Pat Ogechi Dennah.
Rev. Dennah had alleged that Bimbo Akinsanya attempted to assassinate her at about 2030hrs on October 28, 2011 at No. 20, Samuel Street, Akowonjo, Egbeda, Lagos through a yet to be identified boy.
She was said to have committed an offence punishable under section 338 of the criminal code cap C17 Vol. 11 laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003.
Delivering the judgement yesterday in court, Justice Isaac discharged and acquitted Bimbo. Giving the reason for this, the judge said the prosecuting counsel could not prove its case against the actress.
