Yomi Fabiyi has made a surprising revelation about his relationship with Funke Akindele, alleging that she suddenly cut off communication with him without any clear reason.
In a video that has been circulating online, the actor recounted what he described as their last interaction, linking the fallout to a personal milestone he shared with her.
“The day I told Funke Akindele that I had completed my house was the last day she ever spoke to me,” he said.
Fabiyi maintained that there was no prior disagreement or issue between them before that moment.
“I never offended her,” he added.
Reflecting on the situation, he used the experience to comment on what he believes is a deeper issue within the Nigerian film industry.
“Our industry is very terrible,” he said.
He further suggested that public perception can often be misleading, noting that not everyone who appears kind truly is.
“Those ones you think are good people are not,” he stated.
