Two Harare elderly women fought over boyfriend in full view of the public.
Patricia Mudhara (50) of House No. 8369 110 Crescent in Glen View 8 confronted Sarah Milaz (42) for snatching her boyfriend prompting a fight. The fight ended nasty when both parties hammered each other on the face before they were restrained by members of the public. They have since appeared before Mbare magistrate Rueben Mukavhi facing a charge of public violence. However, the magistrate strongly warned and cautioned them before discharging the dou.
Prosecutor Mirirai Mavemwa had it that on 18 November at around 5pm, and at House No. 8369, 110 Crescent in Glen View 8, the pair had a fierce fight that left the residents baffled. It is the State’s case that Patricia had fallen in love with Sarah’s boyfriend and she got the wave of the affair before approaching her.
The State had it that at the height of the fight, Sarah took a hammer and hit Patricia on the forehead before biting her on the nose. It was further proved that Sarah went on to hit Patricia with a hammer on the face and she sustained a swollen face. Members of the public had to restrain them from further ‘panel beating’ each other.
The pair was medically examined before they were brought to court.
