Wizkid’s latest album, Morayo, has set a new benchmark as the most-streamed album in a single day on Spotify Nigeria.
The album achieved an impressive 12 million streams on the platform, doubling the previous record held by Asake’s Lungu Boy. Globally, Morayo amassed 16.27 million streams within its first full day of release, making it the biggest debut for any African album to date.
Additionally, Wizkid shattered the record for the most single-day streams for a song on Spotify Nigeria with Kese (Dance), surpassing his own previous record held by Piece of My Heart.
