Eniola Ajao, a Nigerian actress and filmmaker, has explained the reason why Bobrisky was awarded ‘Best Female Dressed’ at a recent movie premiere. During the event, celebrities expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision, causing a stir on social media. This eventually led to a public altercation between Femi Adebayo and Dayo Amusa. In an interview with Arise News TV, Eniola Ajao disclosed that Bobrisky’s selection as the winner was a strategic decision aimed at promoting her movie through a PR stunt and marketing plan. According to her, Bobrisky is a controversial figure, and giving him the Best Dressed Female title would generate more awareness for her project. Eniola Ajao further stated that Femi Adebayo, who was unaware of her plans and was simply helping out as the evening’s presenter, has been unfairly criticized by the public.
She said;
“It was all joke, we wanted to have fun. We wanted people to talk about the movie. My team and I decided that the movie needed to be talked about and for it to be in the faces of people and we decided to give it to Bobrisky because he is a controversial person.
At the end of the day, people started talking about it, but some people are trying to come at Femi Adebayo, who is my boss. He wasn’t even aware of so many things that were going on. I only called him to help me announce this, he wasn’t part of the judges or anything”
