Nigeria has not been able to solve its problems, according to Dr. David Oyedepo, Chancellor of Covenant University in Ota, because the populace is not willing to accept responsibility.
In order to address societal issues, Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Churches Worldwide, encouraged Nigerian institutions to increase their research efforts.
Oyedepo asserted that colleges must continue to conduct more fruitful research in order to increase the nation’s food security, access to healthcare, agricultural efficiency, and housing options for all citizens.
“I’ve learned that there is a solution for every issue. However, without a problem-solver, many issues become insoluble.
We will continue to get demoted as long as we are regimented, Oyedepo declared.
Universities, according to the Chancellor, are settings where issues facing society are solved and human value is increased.
He listed a number of the issues facing civilization, such as the need for food, farming, healthcare, shelter, and childbirth and care.
The most intelligent creature among all of God’s creatures is man, but Oyedepo continued, “Our society has not yet been able to find solutions to its problems because it is not willing to take responsibility.”
