Kesari Okala, an influencer who has recently been involved in a controversial incident, has decided to speak out about his clash with street singer Portable. He has explained why he did not physically fight with Portable during their confrontation. The incident, which took place in the popular Computer Village in Lagos, was recorded and quickly went viral.
Portable hit Kesari twice during the confrontation, which was caused by a long-standing disagreement over who is the true owner of the name ‘Kesari’. The two men were shouting at each other and the situation almost turned violent.
Following the incident, Kesari posted a video on his social media page in which he explained that he deliberately did not retaliate in order to avoid being perceived as a violent person. He did not want to be seen as a hooligan, and therefore held back from attacking Portable.
In his words, “Okay now Nigerians, if I had handled the guy for you, you’d have called me a hooligan. Who does that? This is pain!”
