Ruby Ojiakor, a Nollywood actress, has revealed why some women sleep with movie producers in exchange for movie roles.
There have been claims that many actresses sleep with movie producers and marketers in order to secure specific film parts. Ruby Ojiakor, an actress, has recently addressed the topic of sleeping with movie producers.
According to her, any actress who allows a movie producer to sleep with her is not a good actor, hence the need for the actresses to reward the filmmakers with their bodies.
Ruby claimed in an interview with The Punch that only individuals yearning for fame allow themselves to be used by producers to gratify their sexual desires.
“It is good when an actress is talented and knows what she is doing. Many of the girls that prefer to sleep with filmmakers are not that good at what they do. They are just desperate and want to become overnight stars.
“If one is not desperate and one keeps praying to God, one will get movie roles, even if one does not sleep with filmmakers. The filmmakers will not have any option in such a case because the person is good. It is important for actresses to always work on themselves. Once they do so, they will always get jobs. I still get calls despite turning down sexual advances from producers.”
