For days, blogging sites have diffused a tweet in which Ayo Balogun otherwise known as Wizkid insulted fellow artiste, Dapo Oyebanjo better known as D’Banj for being an “Akpan” houseboy to Kanye West.
Wizkid, an artiste on Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment has dissociated himself from the tweet accredited to him.
On Tuesday, August 7, the multiple award-winning singer responded to the allegation when he tweeted; “Don’t owe no one nothing. D’Banj is a friend and a big brother to me, and I am way too grown to tweet that shit. Get it.”
The controversial tweet has already been deleted. A look at the supposedly twitter handle of Wizkid that tweeted the controversial tweet shows that the account must have been a fake one. The twitter handle, which has the same name with the original Wizkid’s twitter handle, @wizkidayo, was opened on May 2012.
The controversial tweet read; “@iamdbanj baby when are you going to sing with kanye naw? I hate d way he’s using you as akpan*sad face* c psqaure chilling with rick ross haba.”
