Whitemoney, the winner of Big Brother Naija Level Up, also known as Hazel Onuo, revealed how his financial resources helped him avoid evictions on the All Stars show. In an interview with Hero Daniels, Whitemoney discussed the misconceptions surrounding his fans’ support and how it contributed to his extended stay before the final eviction. According to the singer, he recognized that winning for a second time was unlikely, so he provided funding to his team to purchase votes for several weeks. Despite the belief that his WMG fans kept him in the competition, he stated that his own money was the key to his progress. He clarified that only approximately 2 percent of the votes originated from his fans. “I wasn’t surprised because I knew I wouldn’t emerge victorious. I was the one who supplied funds to my team to maintain subscriptions. It was my financial resources that propelled me forward. Only 2 percent of the votes came from the public, whereas my money carried me that far,” he explained.
