Nigerian youth and almost all the entire citizens of Nigeria have hit the streets again to protest. During the previous protests, some Nigerian words were used on social media which has caught the attention of American movie star Tyler Perry.
As a result of the ongoing protest, different slangs have been used to communicate their message to the government.
Some of these slags are used by cultists belonging to a cult group. Protesters have however employed the use of these slags such as “SORO SOKE”. This recent slang has caught the attention of Tyler Perry.
Tyler Perry who has shown interest in the ongoing protest against SARS has asked the meaning of the slag used “Soro soke”. “What’s the meaning of “Soro Soke”? I want to learn some Nigerian slangs as I join you in this fight. #ENDBADGOVERNANCE #BetterTogether” he tweeted.
