Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, sparked online buzz when he turned down a foreign dish and specifically requested Eba and egusi soup. The Afrobeat artist faced a choice between Nigerian and British dishes in a recent food testing interview with LADbible.
In the initial round, Jollof rice and cauliflower cheese were presented to Burna Boy. A notable moment occurred when he unequivocally rejected the cauliflower cheese, expressing his distaste for it without actually trying it.
Moving on to the second round, Pot Noodles and Eba with Egusi Soup were served. Burna Boy sampled the Pot Noodles and suggested the need for a special sauce to complement them with Jollof Rice. He revealed that his favorite food is Jollof rice. Instead of just tasting the Egusi soup, Burna Boy went a step further by opening the package of Eba and indulging in it during the interview.
