The induction tradition of the Theatre Arts students, on the other hand, sparked debate across the internet.
“What is this?? Abeg all these people saying that’s how it’s done in all universities, dem no dey do am for my school. Speak for only your university 🙄,” a social media user wrote.
Another user added, “Lol induction in theater arts is normal. You get a certificate afterwards. I did this in Unilag too, although we held apples not candles Abeg o 😂.”
