Popular social media personalities, the Happy Boys, have issued a public apology to Nigerians, admitting they feel they have disappointed their supporters.
The duo gained widespread attention through a viral video showing their joyful attitude while working as security guards at a restaurant. However, after facing significant backlash, they experienced a decline in public support.
In a recent interview, the pair, who were previously detained in Cyprus and later deported while on an academic scholarship, appealed to Nigerians for forgiveness.
“We ask for your forgiveness. We know we’ve let you down. We feel saddened—the love and support just aren’t there like before. We’ve changed; please give us another chance,” they expressed.
Their apology signals a desire to reconnect with their audience, promising they have reformed and are committed to a fresh start.
