Dr Sid has declared Mavins have moved on and don’t miss having Dbanj as a part of them..When asked by the Sun, he said…
“We are not missing Dbanj, no, not at all. He is doing so well and he has gone on to drop a couple of hits and the same goes for Mavin; we have dominated the last two years of Nigerian music no doubt so we are also doing so well,”
Recall, D’banj and Dr. Sid were members of now defunct Mo’hits which also comprised of Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, D’Prince and Kay Switch.
After D’banj and his brother, Kay Switch broke away, the remaining band members formed the Mavin records and signed on Tiwa Savage and others.
Wande Coal as since left the Mavin to try a career on his own.
