Popular American rapper and YouTuber, DDG, has responded to the backlash following his breakup with his baby mama, Halle Bailey.
According to NAIJALOG, DDG announced their split on his Instagram page on Thursday, October 3, 2024, stating that the decision was mutual.
Addressing the criticism from fans, DDG emphasized that he and Bailey still consider each other family.
In a viral interview on the ‘No Ordinary Podcast’ on Monday, the rapper said, “I’ve announced that we’ve split up, and that’s just life. Halle is still family, and I’ll love her forever. Everything is fine, and the future is unpredictable. Beyond that, it’s nobody’s business.
“I see people in the comments, mentions, and DMs making up stories and timelines without knowing the facts. In this situation, no one was at fault. Neither of us has accused the other of wrongdoing. Halle and I are just taking a break, but we’re still family, and the future is open.
“When public figures make a statement, take it as it is and mind your business. You know only a fraction of my life because I’ve shared that much, but I don’t know anything about yours.”
