Popular Nigerian entrepreneur and hair vendor, Wanneka, shares a terrifying experience after surviving a house fire with her family.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Wanneka recounted the chilling moments of a fire outbreak that occurred at around 2:18 am.

The mother of four explained that the fire started right beside her bed while she was asleep with her husband and their baby.
“At 2:18 am, the fire broke out right behind our bed. I was there with my husband and our infant. Once again, God showed up for us,” she wrote.

Earlier that night, she had spent time with her husband watching a movie and eventually dozed off before heading to bed.

While they were sleeping, her husband suddenly noticed the fire and urgently woke her up. Despite the initial panic, she managed to escape quickly, followed closely by her husband, who sustained injuries while trying to carry their son to safety.

“The fire began and ended right at that spot, without spreading to the thick curtains beside the switch. What if my husband hadn’t woken up on time? What if we had all been deeply asleep?” she added.

Although shaken by the experience, Wanneka expressed deep gratitude to God for protecting her family. She emphasized that while the ordeal was traumatizing, they are all safe and in good health.
