Nigerian-American rapper Wale has hailed Davido for his natural comedic talent, suggesting the Afrobeats star has what it takes to succeed as a stand-up comedian on a global scale.
The former Maybach Music Group artist shared his thoughts while reacting to a viral clip of Davido’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, a popular American podcast.
In the video, Davido had the show’s hosts — DJ Envy, Charlamagne tha God, and others — in fits of laughter with his witty and humorous answers.
Quoting the video on X (formerly Twitter), Wale wrote:
“Davido could be a world-class stand-up comedian… natural.”
