Dr Dre seems to be having the best of times with his Apple deal coming to fruition he definitely is on a role. The billionaire American music producer went partying with his wife on June 12th, basically to have a good time. However the music producer exhibited a gesture that surprised everyone at Skybar in West Hollywood’s Mondrian Hotel. Dr Dre apparently gave the waitress who served him at the bar $5000 as tip for her service, a move which you must agree is surprising. Here is how Radaronline is reporting it:
Beats by Dre founder and iconic hip-hop rapper and producer Dr. Dre, 49, partied at the Skybar in West Hollywood’s Mondrian Hotel on June 12, taking shots of tequila.
As security escorted him out around 2 am, the big-hearted star dropped the waitress a $5,000 tip.
“She was stunned!” says an insider, adding that the mogul was happy to take photos with fans and chat with the deejay, Sanni Val Fleury from Immigre.
Earlier in the night, the newly-minted billionaire attended the Full Moon Bazaar in the hotel, picking up a pricey Mac & Lou bracelet for his wife, Nicole Threatt.
The tip was undoubtedly couch change for the legendary musician, who just bought Tom Brady’s old mansion for a cool $40 million. He’s not recklessly spending without any rentention, though. His former home is currently on the market for $35 million.
