Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away.
France, believed to be in his 80s, was known for his performances in films like *Cross My Sin*, *She Is My Sister*, and *The Director*.
Nigerian filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe confirmed France’s passing on Instagram on Monday, sharing his sadness and reminiscing about their time working together.
“Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France,” Ogedengbe wrote. “One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister and The Director. R.I.P.”
At the time of this report, the cause of France’s death remains unknown. His passing has deeply saddened fans and colleagues, coming just days after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry.
