Renowned actor Tajudeen Oyewole, popularly known as Baba Abija, has created a stir by turning to social media to request for financial help.
The 66-year-old actor, famous for his compelling portrayals of traditionalists in Yoruba cinema, appears to be facing significant challenges.
On a TikTok live session that has gained widespread attention, Baba Abija shared his situation while engaging with his followers and seeking monetary support.
He expressed his gratitude to his followers and appealed to them for financial assistance, also asking for blessings, carrying the weight of his age and the history behind him.
While pleading with his fans, he said;
“We will send it now Larry Larry. We will send it to the comment section. You will not be trapped by the evil people of this world. You will not live alone,” he said in Yoruba in the TikTok video
“You will grow old. Larry you will grow in sound health. I have sent the account details to the comment section of Baba Legba. I appreciate you.
“You will also not beg to survive. The real Igbalaye, thank you. You will not suffer in life. The account is in the comment section posted by Baba Legba. Thank you, everyone.”
