Social media activist VeryDarkMan has spoken out after learning about the disturbing experience of a woman who was allegedly attacked in her apartment by an unidentified man.
The woman, who reportedly struggles with insomnia, said she sometimes takes alcohol or other substances in an attempt to help herself sleep. On the night of the incident, she explained that after drinking alcohol, she was still awake when she heard a knock at her door.
According to her account, after opening the door, a man allegedly forced his way into her apartment, pushed her, and slammed her head against a refrigerator, which caused her to lose consciousness. When she woke up, she claimed the man was assaulting her. She added that she could not call for help because she had been tied up and had cloth forced into her mouth.
Reacting to the story in a video posted on his social media page, the activist appeared deeply emotional. He kept his head down for several minutes before speaking, explaining that the case affected him personally because he has sisters, some of whom live with him.
He said he has been trying to locate the victim, as he does not know her social media identity. He called on his followers to help identify her, stating that he is willing to support her in seeking justice. He also encouraged anyone with useful information to contact his brother or send him an email.
In the video, he also read out a message allegedly written by the suspect. The message claimed the attacker used a blade on the victim, which allegedly caused her injuries. It also reportedly suggested that she would see him again in four years.
The note further alleged that the suspect had tried to approach her before but was ignored, except for one occasion when she commented on his scent. The message also claimed he paid money to obtain her home address before carrying out the attack.
The suspect allegedly warned her against pursuing justice, claiming his wealthy father would protect him from consequences. He also reportedly suggested that because she comes from a less privileged background, she would not be able to fight the case.
The case has since sparked strong reactions online, with many people calling for justice and increased safety awareness for individuals living alone.
