VeryDarkMan ‘Resurrects’ Online, Mocks King Mitchy as Feud Escalates

Outspoken social media commentator, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has launched a scathing critique against President Bola Tinubu’s government. His remarks come on the heels of petrol prices soaring past the N1,000 per litre mark, sparking widespread frustration across the country.

Fuel Subsidy and Economic “Failure”

VDM expressed deep disappointment in the current economic trajectory, suggesting that the removal of the fuel subsidy has not yielded the promised benefits for the average Nigerian. He argued that the previous system, despite its flaws, offered more relief than the current situation.

“Fuel price hits over 1000 naira per litre. President Bola Tinubu is the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria. They lied, they stole, and they want to continue stealing. President Tinubu is a failure. At the point where you took us from, it was much better than this.”

The commentator further alleged that the subsidy removal was merely a strategy for misappropriation:

“Now imagine a place where Bola Ahmed Tinubu picks everybody from… imagine where we dey today. I said it then that this subsidy thing, they were actually looking for the best means to steal. It was even better when they were paying for the subsidy; at least there was a budget of money meant for the benefit of Nigerians.”

Deterioration of the Education Sector

Beyond energy costs, VeryDarkMan highlighted the plight of Nigerian students abroad and the declining state of public infrastructure. He specifically pointed to reports of stranded scholars as evidence of administrative negligence.

  • Public Schools: VDM noted that the quality of basic education continues to plummet.

  • Stranded Scholars: He claimed many students on government scholarships in places like Morocco are currently suffering.

“Till tomorrow we still dey cry say our public schools are failing the children, dey give scholarship in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s regime plenty of them dey for Morocco stranded dey cry. Education sector don fall, everything they collected money for e don fall. So where is the money for the subsidy that they removed? This is the most corrupt government in the history of Nigerian govt.”

A Warning on Censorship

Wrapping up his critique, VDM reminded his followers of his previous predictions regarding the economy. He warned that if the government moves toward digital censorship or internet shutdowns, it would signal a deeper level of crisis for the nation.

“Everything I said has come to past. When people doubt me, look at it now. Na the same go shut down internet, na that time Nigerians go know say problem dey o wey you no dey see.”
