Popular online personality VeryDarkMan has denied theft accusations by sharing a 2,000-page bank statement for his NGO account. The statement revealed a current balance of ₦240 million, with a single deduction of ₦39,000 for a transfer levy.
This came after claims surfaced that ₦180 million had been stolen from the account following an alleged hack of the organization’s website. In a video shared on his X (formerly Twitter) page, VeryDarkMan addressed the allegations, showing his face and speaking in detail.
He refuted the claims in a follow-up video, which dismissed the theft allegations as false. To back up his defense, he visited the bank to obtain the statement, confirming that the funds were untouched, except for the transfer levy.
The video quickly gained traction online, with users sharing their reactions in the comment section.
