Popular activist Verydarkman has released a new audio recording of a phone call allegedly made by Bobrisky while in detention, where the social media influencer purportedly admits to bribing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to dismiss money laundering charges against him.
This comes just days after Verydarkman stirred up attention online with the release of a previous recording. The latest audio, allegedly recorded on May 16, 2024, while Bobrisky was reportedly meant to be in prison, contains several revealing claims.
In the call, Bobrisky allegedly confesses to a friend that he had access to his phone during detention but didn’t want that fact to be widely known. He also disclosed that the EFCC had been investigating his finances and accounts, prompting him to pay them off to have the charges dropped.
Verydarkman further highlighted a critical detail in the audio, pointing out that Bobrisky admitted his account was frozen—a statement that contradicts what the EFCC had allegedly presented in the House of Representatives.
