Controversial social commentator, Verydarkman, has weighed in on the drama involving Grammy-winning superstar Dami Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy.
The singer has been trending for days after a viral video showed him ordering a female fan out of his U.S. show for allegedly sleeping during his performance. Burna Boy stopped the concert briefly and instructed security to escort her out, sparking massive backlash online.
Verydarkman Breaks Down the Viral Clip
In a fresh video uploaded to his YouTube page, Verydarkman reacted to a widely circulated clip shared on X (formerly Twitter).
He claimed the footage being pushed online was actually a manipulated video from the 2020 End SARS protests.
According to Verydarkman, the protest in question originally took place in Abuja. He also addressed rumors that the female fan involved in the concert incident had allegedly posted about it on Instagram.
He explained that the Instagram account linked to the supposed fan has undergone six username changes since it was created in July 2022, raising doubts about its authenticity.
Verydarkman also replied to an X user, @honest30bgfan, who claimed Burna Boy had lost over 100,000 followers on Instagram. He countered the claim with what he described as evidence proving otherwise.
Furthermore, he resurfaced an old video from the same X account that suggested a poor turnout at Burna Boy’s Coachella show. Verydarkman argued that the clip was likely recorded at a moment when Burna Boy wasn’t even present at the venue.
