VeryDarkMan, a controversial socialite, has accused Ubi Franklin’s friend of using Davido’s name to defraud an upcoming artist.
In a video posted on VeryDarkMan’s page, he revealed that an upcoming artist and his manager had approached Ubi Franklin for assistance in securing a good feature for the artist’s music.
According to VeryDarkMan, Ubi Franklin requested the manager and the upcoming artist to send N2 million to demonstrate their commitment.
Ubi Franklin allegedly also demanded an additional N5 million to contact Davido on their behalf and negotiate a low price for the feature with the upcoming artist.
After collecting N10.5 million from the upcoming artist, Ubi Franklin reportedly promised to assist him in obtaining a US visa to meet with the Afrobeat artist.
