A beauty vendor recently sparked controversy after claiming that an inmate from Kirikiri Prison, believed to be the lifestyle influencer Bobrisky, ordered beauty products from her store.
The vendor, known on X (formerly Twitter) as @subuolax, shared her surprise at the order, noting it was an unexpected highlight of her week. She expressed disbelief that someone in prison would prioritize beauty products.
“An inmate from Kirikiri Prison in Nigeria ordering from Beauty Hut is surprisingly the highlight of my week. Like miss ma’am. Beauty shouldn’t be your priority right now?” she wrote.
While the vendor didn’t explicitly name Bobrisky, many social media users speculated that the transgender influencer, who had been sentenced to six months in prison for naira note abuse, was the inmate in question.
