Nigerian content producers on Twitter have begun getting paid for the advertising that appear in their feeds. The producers used the social media site to display the various payments they had gotten from X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to the business, in order to be eligible, creators must be authenticated and have a minimum of 500 followers and 5 million impressions.

Nigerian users displayed different amounts they had earned on the microblogging site as part of the payout, which started in the US in July.
Twitter launches worldwide payments
At the end of July, the business announced the program’s expansion to users worldwide.
Payment was given to verified users in Nigeria and other countries who met the requirements and the impressions threshold for their posts and content.
Many compensated creators used the platform to share their receipts and thank Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter.
The creators claim that Musk has provided them an incentive to stick on the platform and keep producing interesting material.
Qualification for payment
To qualify for payment, users had to be verified or subscribe to Twitter Blue.
Additionally, every three months, creators must receive at least five million impressions on their posts. Additionally, they need to meet Creator Monetization Standards after a human assessment.
Users that want to be paid using Stripe must have at least 500 followers.
From the Monetization area of the app, which is located in the sidebar on the iOS and Android menu on the web, eligible users can sign up and set up payments.
According to reports, the company said it might modify or end the initiative whenever it saw fit, including for ethical or legal considerations.
