Reality TV personality Uriel Oputa has voiced her concerns about the increasing lack of respect on social media following VeryDarkMan’s ongoing tirade.
It’s worth noting that VeryDarkMan sparked a social media frenzy by alleging that Iyabo Ojo, Papaya Ex, and other skit makers were only invited to Davido’s ‘After Party,’ and claiming that Nkechi Blessing was almost turned away.
Since then, VDM has been involved in a series of back-and-forth exchanges with various celebrities on social media.
In a post that has since been deleted, Uriel Oputa commented that social media has become a platform for disrespect and abuse, with trolls targeting individuals who could have potentially helped them in the future.
She specified that her comments were not aimed at VeryDarkMan, but at those who were trolling her for exercising. In a recent post, she mentioned that she personally reached out to VDM to let him know that her comments were not directed at him.
Her words: “Social media is a Breeding ground for Disrespect and Abuse. Half of the people you Troll and insult are actually your Destiny Helpers God be shaking his Head Watching close doors because your can’t manage your 5mb This is why no dey send Una when you dey pray for Help. Commot from here jo!! Imagine Trolling someone who can potentially pay your Rent for 5 years or more.
