Isaac, the second son of Living Faith Church’s general overseer Bishop David Oyedepo, has drawn criticism for being named the national youth pastor.
This dispute started when the church’s youth ministry, Youth Alive Fellowship (YAF), revealed the new youth pastor in a post on its official Facebook page.
However, several Nigerians weren’t happy with this statement, and they voiced it in the comments area.
Many others questioned Bishop Oyedepo’s decision, labeling it as “turning church into family business,” and questioned why he chose his son for the position.
“On behalf of the Youths of Living Faith Church Worldwide, we say a big welcome to our National Youth Pastor, Pastor Isaac Oyedepo as he takes the Youth Alive Fellowship to the next levels of glory,” YAF said in a statement.
