Details emerging indicate, President Goodluck Jonathan, cancelled his proposed trip to Chibok based on advice from foreign intelligence service.
The president was supposed to visit the scene where over 250 girls were abducted over a month ago before jetting out to France for a summit.
But, the foreign surveillance teams of West Nations helping in the search to find the missing girls warned the President that the trip is “ill-advised and contemptuous.”
Though, Ruben Abati, the president’s spokesman has refuted the claim that the president planned a visit Chibok, source in the Presidency the idea was mooted about a week ago and the president agreed.
