Ubi Franklin, a close friend and lawyer of popular afrobeat artist Davido, has responded to accusations of fraud leveled against him by activist Verydarkman. VeryDarkMan accused Ubi of stealing almost 10.5 million Naira from an upcoming artist who approached him for help, by using Davido’s name on false pretenses. However, Ubi Franklin has responded to the allegations by stating on Instagram that he is unfazed by any scandal in the new year and that 2024 would be a prosperous year for him. After this post, Davido’s Hypeman, Spesh, posted a meme video on Instagram, showing Ubi releasing his rage on detractors. This video not only amused Ubi but also had Davido, Isreal DMW, Kidwaya, and others laughing out loud.
