On Tuesday night a four-alarm fire broke out on Tyler Perry’s extensive film complex in Atlanta Georgia. It took over 100 firefighters to get the blaze under control in the 30-acre property, but no injuries have been reported.

The studio complex, which housed multiple sound stages and large theaters, was the site of many of Perry’s film and TV projects. Reports said that at least one building on the 30-acre property suffered severe structural damage.

To effectively battle the fire, more than 100 firefighters and 12 trucks were called in. No employees were reported to be injured and an official confirmed that Tyler Perry was also unharmed.”As far as I know, [Perry] is OK — there was a report that he was on the scene, but I didn’t see him,” Capt. Jolyon Bundrige told the LA Times.

A statement from The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department gave details on what followed their initial response. “The response was immediately upgraded to three alarms, and at 8:50 p.m. a fourth alarm was called, due to the fire conditions, size, type, and location of the structure. An initial report of a partial collapse was limited to the fascia of the affected building, which is located in the center of the lot. The structural integrity of the building was not compromised. The four alarm fire was brought under control after only an hour of crews working on scene, at 9:45 p.m.”
