Two FRSC officers killed in Kano

Two officers of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) were on Wednesday killed by unknown gunmen around Madobi roundabout in Kano State.

Four FRSC officers driving towards Kano in an official vehicle were attacked by two men riding on a motorcycle. Two of the officers were shot dead and another was critically injured.

Kano Sector Commander Zaki Alkali, confirmed the incident saying “four of our officers were on routine vehicle check at about 12pm today (Wednesday) in Madobi local government when they were attacked by two people on motorcycle.”

“Two of the officers were killed while one was rushed to the hospital” he added.

Officials of the Kano FRSC Command have recently come under serious attacks by the Boko Haram
