US President, Donald Trump, has reacted to the engagement of award-winning American singer, Taylor Swift, and NFL star, Travis Kelce.
As earlier reported by Naijalog, Taylor Swift announced her engagement to Kelce through an Instagram post, sharing photos from the proposal.
During a cabinet meeting, Trump was briefed about the news shortly after it went viral online.
Responding, he described Taylor Swift as a “terrific person” and praised Kelce as a “great player” and “great guy.”
“Well, I wish them the best of luck. He’s a great player, a great guy, and she’s a terrific person,” Trump said.
This comes after Trump had previously taken a swipe at Swift on X (formerly Twitter), claiming she was “no longer hot” and openly expressing his dislike for her.
