Popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu Johnson has emerged the Vice President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria
The actress, most visible in movies produced in the Yoruba section of Nollywood, was elected the Vice President of the actor’s association along with Ibinabo Fiberesima‘s re-election on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
Toyin, who unknown to many, was Fiberesima’s running mate all along but who managed to keep it under wraps while they put their strategy in place, announced her new position on her Instagram account at about 8:15pm yesterday, shortly after they were declared winner of the election by the election committee.
