Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has pledged to publicly defend her close friend and colleague, Iyabo Ojo, after enduring what she described as months of relentless online bullying.
The actress made her stance known in a heartfelt Instagram post, revealing that she had previously chosen to remain quiet, offering private support as Iyabo faced repeated criticism and online attacks.
Iyabo Ojo, who recently became a grandmother, has been at the center of several controversies — including those linked to the late singer Mohbad, Sam Larry, Naira Marley, and long-standing clashes with fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin.
Toyin Abraham explained that despite initially choosing silence, her patience has reached its limit. She announced that she is now prepared to step forward and confront the situation directly.
“Aunty Iyabo… I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop. But they didn’t. Now I’m about to react, and I pray the world won’t call it ‘overreacting.’ Because this time, I’m going to OVERDO it — not just as a mum, but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go,” she wrote.
In response, Iyabo Ojo urged Toyin to stay calm and not get involved, expressing gratitude for her support.
“Baby, hold your peace. I love you,” she commented.
Although the exchange has since been deleted, it sparked widespread attention online. Many fans praised Toyin for her loyalty, while others sided with Iyabo’s call for restraint and peace.
