Renowned Nigerian comedian, Gbadamosi ThankGod Benard, widely known as Koboko Master, is gearing up to entertain fans in Minna, Niger State, with his much-anticipated comedy event.
Titled “Niger State Lafta with Koboko Master,” the show is scheduled for October 3rd at Posh Event Marque and will be part of the celebrations marking Nigeria’s Independence anniversary.
The night promises non-stop laughter, with an exciting lineup that includes popular acts like Magnito, Acapella, Nedu, Clint da Drunk, Akpororo, MC Edo Pikin, Mr. Paul, Mazi Prospa, Deacon Megoro, I Am Shy, MC Bless, Beejay, and Temiz.
Organizers revealed that Koboko Master chose Minna as a show of support for Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s ongoing efforts to grow the entertainment industry in the state. The governor, known for his focus on agriculture and environmental initiatives, also sees entertainment as a powerful tool to foster unity among residents.
This show comes just months after Koboko Master made headlines by becoming the first comedian to sell out the 5,000-capacity Transcorp Hilton Event Centre in Abuja with his “In Da Beginning” show held on June 15, 2025. That event attracted top celebrities, business moguls, and political dignitaries, with fans rushing for last-minute tickets.
Now, with Niger State Lafta, the comedy sensation is set to bring that same electrifying energy to Minna as the city gets ready for a memorable Independence Day celebration.
