Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has once again stirred conversation online after taking her prayer sessions a step further amid ongoing criticism.
The actress recently shared a new update revealing that she has created a fresh email address where people can send their prayer requests so she can join them in prayer and intercede on their behalf.
This development comes shortly after a video from a deliverance session she held at a school went viral, sparking mixed reactions from Nigerians, including social media critic VeryDarkMan.
Taking to her Facebook page on Sunday, March 8, 2026, the actress who has recently been vocal about her renewed Christian faith announced the new email address while asking followers to disregard the previous one.
She wrote:
“Pls disregard the old email but be rest assured that all the prayer points on the old email will be attended to and God will meet you at the point of your need in Jesus name Amen. Happy Sunday,”
She further added:
“Attention new prayer Email: [email protected],”
Earlier, the actress had shared footage from a deliverance session she conducted at a school, explaining that it reflected the ministry she believes God has called her into.
In her words:
“Today, God allowed me to see a glimpse of the ministry He has placed upon my life. I was delivered from the marine world so that I may become an instrument in His hands to deliver others,”
However, the video did not sit well with many Nigerians. Among those who criticised the act was VeryDarkMan, who openly condemned the session.
According to him, the deliverance video appeared to exploit vulnerable children for viral attention rather than providing genuine help. He also warned the actress to stay away from the school located in his community and advised her to focus on addressing issues within her own family first.
Following her announcement about the new prayer email, social media users flooded the comment section with mixed reactions. Some questioned the pace of her spiritual transformation, while others advised her to take things slowly.
