Fans of the late Nigerian artist Mohbad gathered at Unity Fountain in the Federal Capital Territory’s Abuja central business area and demanded justice.
The purpose of the candlelight procession, which was organized by “Mohbad Abuja Fans,” was to demand justice in light of the singer’s premature passing.
According to reports, the ceremony started on time at 7 o’clock, with Tonto Dikeh and other admirers donning white T-shirts to represent sadness and purity.
Participants in the candlelight parade played and danced to Mohbad’s songs as a form of respect.
As fans recalled the artist’s music and influence, the atmosphere was mixed with both sadness and joy.
