Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress and philanthropist, has distributed 1,000 bags of rice to widows and single mothers as a Christmas gift.
The Tonto Dikeh Foundation, in collaboration with the King Andre Dikeh Foundation, has begun the distribution of Christmas gifts to 1,000 widows and single mothers in Rivers state, Rumuokuta, Obiakpor LGA, and surrounding areas.
Taking to her page, she wrote;
“@officalthetontodikehfoundation is Glad to announce that we have kicked off our 10,000 SMILES FOR CHRISTMAS charity work…
We kickstarted with Rivers state, Rumuokuta, Obiakpor LGA, where we distributed hundreds of bags of rice and including money to support the widows and put a smile on their faces.
The next stop is Imo state, Owerri to be precise AND ABUJA
The Tonto DIKEH foundation in collaboration with the King Andre DIKEH Foundation has taken this project upon itself to reach out to Widows, The Aged, and Single Mothers all around the 36 states in Nigeria this season!!!
