Tolanibaj Shares Key Survival Tips for BBNaija Season 10 Aspirants

BBNaija star Tolanibaj has set social media abuzz after advising a popular Nigerian musician — whose identity she withheld — to consider stepping away from music.

The rising DJ suggested that the singer should retire while their reputation remains intact, rather than continue releasing what she described as “horrible” music.

In a recent video, Tolanibaj shared that this opinion had been on her mind for almost a year.

“Why is it that Nigerian artistes don’t know when to evolve or completely transition into business?” she questioned.

She further stated:

“If your sound is outdated or doesn’t resonate with your fans anymore, go into business. If you have built an amazing legacy, why allow the constant disrespect by being compared to the new generation artiste?”

Highlighting Olamide and Don Jazzy as successful examples of career evolution, Tolanibaj encouraged more artists to take similar paths.

“There’s no shame in retiring. Stop dropping nonsense music to water down your brand, especially if your past catalogue is A1. I would rather you don’t drop music at all and become a lifestyle influencer,” she added.

Although she didn’t reveal the name of the artiste in question, her remarks have sparked widespread speculation and debate online, with many trying to figure out who she was referring to.
