Tiwa Savage has once again spoken about the leak of her intimate video with her partner, revealing it occurred during a period when she was still mourning her father’s death.
In an interview with Zeze Mills, the singer described it as the lowest moment of her life, explaining that she coped by avoiding dwelling on the incident.
“It was a space of like two months where my dad died and my sex tape was released,” she said.
The incident, which happened in October 2021, made headlines after the video surfaced online.
In an earlier interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez, Savage revealed the leak was an attempt at blackmail. She explained that the perpetrator tried to extort money from her, but she refused to give in.
