Afrobeat star Tiwa Savage has responded to a Wizkid FC troll who attempted to belittle her latest collaboration with rising artist Ruger.
The much-anticipated track, *Toma Toma*, was released today, November 15, 2024, with Tiwa promoting the launch on Instagram through a lively dance video.
Captioning her post, she wrote, “No replica. Told y’all this one is special. The 🌀 @rugerofficial called and I answered. Toma Toma OUT NOW.”
While many fans celebrated the new release, a Wizkid FC fan criticized her post, asserting that no track could compete with Wizkid’s song, also released today.
In response, Tiwa Savage condemned toxic fan culture, emphasizing that fans should support their favorite artists without resorting to bullying or stirring up rivalries.
“There’s a line between being fans and bullies. This unhealthy competition is terrible for everyone,” she said.
The exchange has sparked online discussions about the impact of fan culture on artists and their work. Meanwhile, *Toma Toma* continues to gain momentum, with fans praising the chemistry between Tiwa and Ruger.
