Tiwa announced her father’s passing on July 19, 2021, describing it as a peaceful transition. Despite challenging times in the past, he fought bravely until the end.
To mark her father’s posthumous birthday, Tiwa shared a photo on her Instagram story, nearly three years after his passing. Alongside the image, she wrote: “Happy birthday daddy. Continue to rest in perfect peace ❤️🕊️”
It’s noteworthy that Tiwa Savage also celebrated her own 44th birthday on February 5, expressing gratitude to everyone who sent her heartfelt messages and made her feel special on her special day.
She wrote: “Thank you for all the love and messages. I’m trying to respond to all. Yesterday you all made me feel truly special ❤️”
